MEET ROSATHÉ UNDERWOOD

Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

My work is centered on helping you process what has happened, reconnect with yourself, and discover what comes next. Together, we can explore the experiences that have shaped you, understand the patterns and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, and begin to see your story in a new way. I believe therapy can be both compassionate and challenging, a space where you feel supported while also being invited to reflect, grow, and move toward the life you want to build.

I have a particular connection to those who dedicate their lives to serving others, especially first responders and their families. My husband died in the line of duty, and his death changed the life I thought I was building. As a young widow, I came to understand that profound loss doesn’t simply change what we feel, it can change how we see ourselves, our future, our relationships, and the world around us.

You may find yourself in a place you never imagined you would. You may be navigating grief, trauma, heartbreak, or a major life transition. Or perhaps you have followed your passions and values, done what you believed was right, and still found yourself somewhere you never expected. Wherever you are, you don't have to navigate it alone.

I am here to support you through your healing journey using trauma-informed approaches, including Lifespan Integration, EMDR (beginning mid-October), narrative therapy, and meaning-making. Together, we can make sense of what you have experienced, build skills to help you navigate the challenges you are facing, and explore what healing and rebuilding can look like for you.

Healing is not linear. The fluctuations are real, and the process of becoming doesn’t happen all at once. There may be days when you feel like you are moving forward and others when you feel like you are taking a step back. You can learn ways to cope with what you are carrying right now while also making space for who you are becoming. My hope is to walk alongside you as you process your story, reconnect with what matters most, and begin creating a life rooted in your values, relationships, purpose, and hope.
